As the Head of Social Media, I am responsible for developing and leading the organization's digital presence across all social media platforms, as well as managing interns. This role ensures consistent branding, drives engagement, grows online communities, and supports organizational goals through strategic content and digital campaigns.

Promotion and Outreach Intern
In my role as a Promotion and Outreach Intern at Inspired Minds Creative Collective, I collaborated with the co-founders to plan and execute the Elevated Expression event, which is an art exhibition and fashion, music, and business panel. I engaged with vendors, designed promotional graphics using Adobe Illustrator, and worked as the photographer for the promotional photoshoot to enhance event visibility and engagement.

Amazing Grace Conservatory
Visual Storytelling Instructor
As an alumnus of Amazing Grace Conservatory (AGC), I had the honor of returning to teach and design the first-ever Visual Storytelling course. I independently created a dynamic curriculum for students ages 7-18, divided into three age groups, focusing on the fundamentals of photography and the power of visual storytelling.

Additionally, as someone deeply dedicated to educating young people about the power of advocacy and self-expression through artistic mediums, the fulfillment this role has brought me is indescribable.

In this role, I taught:

Photography basics, composition, and editing.
The ins and outs of portraying emotion through photos.
A brief history of photography, with a focus on Black photographers and their cultural impact.
The importance of visual storytelling and understanding personal style.
Media literacy, representation, and reclaiming Black narratives through imagery.

Students explored photography not just as a technical skill, but as a powerful form of self-expression, cultural awareness, and creative liberation.
Production Assistant and Photographer
During my time as a Production Assistant and Photographer at Amazing Grace Conservatory, I supported Director Wendy Raquel Robinson and the cast (ages 7-18) in the 2024 Winter Show, It's A Wonderful Life...Ain't It?

I meticulously took production notes and captured memorable behind-the-scenes and on-stage moments.

TillSow Studios
Summer Intern
As a Summer Intern at TillSow Studios, I gained hands-on experience at the intersection of creative direction, advertising, production, and social media strategy. This multifaceted role allowed me to work directly on campaigns, develop visual concepts, and contribute to both on-set execution and post-production.

I served as a Production Assistant on JayDon’s “Lullaby” music video, assisting with set design, production management, and playback while capturing and posting behind-the-scenes content for TillSow’s social platforms. I also contributed feedback in post-production, which deepened my appreciation for the full creative process.

One standout moment was gaining official access to Warner Bros. Studios for an upcoming album shoot for a notable recording artist and actor. We visited the Prop House to shop for the shoot's set, and I explored sound stages alongside my mentors, an unforgettable experience as a visual storyteller.

I helped support the rollout of "Time II: Unfinished Business," the sequel to the Oscar-nominated documentary "Time." I designed national watch party invitations featuring the Fawohodie symbol, meaning freedom and emancipation, helped execute a Juneteenth screening, and co-developed a proposal for a “Black Women in Film Brunch” pitched for Essence Festival 2025.

I contributed to mock campaigns for Puma centered on youth, women in sports, and basketball. I contributed mood boards, conducted R&D, and helped draft campaign structures, aligning with the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. I also shadowed work on campaigns for Revolve and FWRD, and helped lead TikTok strategy for a lifestyle page focused on maternal wellness and holistic living.

Throughout the internship, I was mentored closely by Hope Harris-Refuerzo, co-founder of TillSow Studios, and learned the fundamentals of brand development, launch strategy, and high-level production execution.

The Culture Keepers Circle
Director of Cinematography and Event Coordinator
The Culture Keepers Circle is a national grassroots movement of African-descendant, Indigenous, Latiné, Asian/Pacific Islander, and other cultural communities formed to protect the people, places, practices, and treasures that document our contributions to American society.

I’m currently working with the founder, A. Prince Albert III, to capture his Cultural Sustainability course at Georgetown Law School for educational media content and a future documentary or docuseries. We are also planning a film festival that will center on short films centered on culture, community, and social change.

2023 Morningside Award Winner
Issued by The City of Greensboro Human Rights Department
As affirmed by the Greensboro City Council, the Morningside Award is given annually to five graduates of James B. Dudley High School in memory of Cesar Cauce, Dr. Michael Nathan, William Evan Sampson, Sandra Neely Smith, and Dr. James Waller, who tragically lost their lives in the Greensboro Massacre of 1979. The awards commemorate the lives of those lost, who left a legacy of standing for justice and equality. The $1,979 award will be granted after a K-12 education. Five Dudley graduates will receive the award based on their commitment to advancing social justice and equality through their future academic goals, employment goals, and/or future entrepreneurial goals.
2023 I Am Discovery Entrepreneurship Competition, Regional Winner

I presented a business pitch for a non-profit organization to prominent Greensboro entrepreneurs and council members. I received a $250 cash prize and was rewarded with lifetime connections with the Women’s Business Center of Greensboro.

Chief Creative Officer
Promoted to Chief Creative Officer (CCO) for the 2026-2027 school year! Starting in August as CCO, I will lead all creative teams, including Photography, Creative Direction, and Graphic Design, and collaborate directly with the Editor-in-Chief to design and produce the print issues.

Additionally, I will work with the Social Media and Creative Teams to maintain a cohesive brand image across digital and social channels, produce content and creative projects, and foster community.

Models of the Mecca, Incorporated
Class VIII Photography and Videography Department Member Models of the Mecca, Incorporated, is a modeling and creative selective organization on Howard University's campus. As a member of the Photography and Videography (PV) Department, I have collaborated with other PV Members, Stylists, Hairstylists, Makeup Artists, Creative Directors, and Models to produce creative, editorial photos and videos.

For the Class VIII show, IMMORTALE, I assisted in directing and editing promotional content, which can be viewed on Instagram (@modelsofthemecca), as well as captured the essence and memorable moments of the show through photography, which can be viewed on Instagram (@nyvisionn).

Radical Readers Children’s Literacy Program
