MELT ICE.

In light of the ongoing tragedies and in honor of the lives lost due to the utter violence of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, I wanted to use my art and platform to create a visual protest

The “work” being done in the name of “protecting” Americans is cruel and inhumane. it is a direct attack on humanity, on families, and on the fundamental freedom to exist without fear.

Across the country, people are being detained, deported, and even killed in the name of immigration enforcement.

It is not our fault that we have become desensitized after constantly absorbing stories of violence, loss, and suffering. but it is still our responsibility to educate ourselves, to protest, and to uplift one another. we are not powerless in this fight.

To the creatives at Howard University and beyond: use your art to amplify your voice. creativity is resistance. your work can challenge narratives, start conversations, and reach people in ways that traditional protest cannot.

Stay creative. Speak loudly. Protect each other.
